Biography

Michelle Kaku, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine. From an early age she has demonstrated outstanding achievement starting with her receiving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Distinguished Achievement Award at the N.Y International Science Technology and Engineering Fair, a $40,000 prize, while still in high school. She went on to graduate Magna cum Laude and attended both undergrad and medical school on merit scholarships. Dr. Kaku is passionate about community service and has participated in Haiti relief missions for which she received recognition for. She was chief resident at the Icahn School of Medicine before being appointed to her current position, where she lectures and serves as Assistant Program Director to the Residency.
