Biography

Gitanjali Srivastava, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Nutrition at the Boston University School of Medicine. Throughout her careerm Dr. Srivastava has been high achieving and was inducted into five honor societies: the Golden Key Society, Gamma Beta Phi, Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Alpha Omega Alpha. During her undergraduate years she was awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, the highest award granted to a student and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Later on in her career, she was recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics with the Outstanding Distinguished Services Award to a Young Physician. She received licensed to practice in five states, three of which are still active. In the medical community, she is well-known for her numerous publications and is frequently featured at conferences.
