Nominations: Annual BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Awards

At the end of each academic year, the School recognizes faculty for their excellence in teaching and services. In the spirit of gratitude and reflection we invite you to nominate The School faculty for following awards:

Educator of the Year Award: Educator of the Year Award recognizes The faculty who delivers exceptional education to the School medical and/or graduate students, including didactic teaching, clinical teaching, or mentoring. Click here for selection criteria and past award recipients.

Stanley L. Robbins Award for Excellence in Teaching: The Stanley L. Robbins Award serves to acknowledge the School scholars, teachers, or innovators in medical student education.  Click here for the selection criteria and past award recipients.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility (DEIA): The School DEIA of the Year Award recognizes the School faculty and staff who has done an extraordinary job at addressing and improving diversity and a culture of inclusion, equity and accessibility throughout the BU Chobanian & Avedisian SM community. Resident Educator of the Year: Resident Educator of the Year Award recognizes interns/residents at the School clinical sites, including BMC and Affiliated sites, who delivers exceptional education to The School medical students during their clerkship year through their clinical teaching, feedback, and mentoring. Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award: The purpose of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Awards presented by The Arnold P. Gold Foundation (“the Foundation”) is to recognize the value of humanism in the delivery of care to patients and their families. Click here for the selection criteria and past award recipients.
