Educational Quality Improvement Subcommittee (EQS)
The Educational Quality Improvement Subcommittee (EQS) is one of the MEC’s standing subcommittees. The EQI is responsible for:
- identifying and implementing educational QI projects in the medical school curriculum, based on data
- reviewing all course and clerkship evaluation data at least annually to identify areas for improvement, request action plan, and follow-up to ensure outcomes improve
- reviewing course- and session-level learning objectives at least every three years
The EQS is comprised of the Assistant Dean who oversees the educational quality improvement (EQI) process, who shall serve as chair, the committee chairs for PCS and CCS, and faculty appointments as determined jointly by the Associate Dean of Medical Education and the chair.
