BUSM welcomed Alden M. Landry, MD, MPH, to campus for an interactive and informative session on the complexities of imposter syndrome and its potential impact on career growth and personal well-being.
Dr. Sacco was the first neurologist to serve as the president of the American Heart Association.
This year’s festivities included an open house, student-led campus tours, the Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony and Luncheon, and of course, the alumni reception and class dinners held at the Sheraton Boston.
Students shared personal stories and spoke about how scholarships were a critical component in attending medical school.
Students and alumni of the Early Medical School Selection Program (EMSSP) spent the final days of summer in Boston for a memorable homecoming weekend.
The 28 newly conferred graduates now join the 131,000 practicing physician assistants across the US.
Surrounded by family, faculty and friends, they became the sixth PA student class to receive their white coats at BUSM.
This year’s theme was “Nurturing an Open and Inclusive Environment for Learning.”
Invited speaker Dr. Ann McKee described the path that led her to challenge the NFL and provided advice to the Class of 2019.
