Customize Your Zoom Meeting with BUMC Backgrounds

Do you miss you miss the Medical Campus? Your lab? Talbot Green? Here are some images from the campus that can be used for your virtual Zoom background (with the understanding that your device can support it). Download the images here. To change your background follow the instructions below.

  1. Open this link.
  1. Hover over an image and click the download arrow in the upper left corner.
  1. Click allow for the message “Do you want to allow downloads on drive.google.com?”
  1. Make sure you “Enable” Virtual Backgrounds by going to “Settings” at zoom.us in a web browser.
  1. Once enabled, open Zoom on your desktop or browser and join or create a new meeting.
  1. Once in the meeting, you’ll see at the bottom left corner the “Stop Video” option. Click the upward arrow (“^”) to the right.
  1. When clicking the arrow, you will see the option “Choose virtual background”—click that option.
  1. That will take you to a new window in “Settings,” where you can choose from a default background or upload your own.
  1. To upload your own, click the “+” in the “Settings” window on the right of the video screen.
  1. Select your image and click “Open.”
