Join a Fall Course on Health Sciences Education

Available courses include:

GMS HS701 A1: Principles of Health Sciences Ed Part 1
Tuesdays 6-8 p.m. | 2 credits
With a focus on clinical teachinglearners will explore definitions of learning and teaching, developing learning contracts and goal setting, adult learning principles, experience and reflection and competency-based training.

GMS HS704 A1: Fundamentals of Teaching & Learning in HSE 
Thursdays 6-8 p.m. | 2 credits
This course prepares students to design meaningful didactic learning experiences using multiple modalities including large group lecture, small group teaching, case-based problem-based and team-based learning, flipped classroom, standardized patients and simulation and e-learning.

Those interested in teaching health science disciplines are encouraged, including physicians and physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners, as well as dental, nutrition, occupational, mental health and all other health professionals. Tuition remission available for BU employees and discounts available for BMC employees!
