Sept. 22 New Science Communication Workshop: “The Conversation” US

All Medical Campus faculty are encouraged to attend a brief introductory communications workshop to facilitate science communication and sharing of research and views. The Conversation US (TCUS) provides independent news and analysis written by the academic and research community, edited by journalists and delivered to the general public.

The Conversation Editor Maria Balinska and Health and Medicine Editor Jessie Schanzle will discuss its history, the editorial process, impact to date and, most importantly, how scholars on the Medical Campus can contribute.

The Conversation, based here at Boston University, is an independent nonprofit that works under a creative common license. It launched in Australia in March 2011 and in the UK in May 2013. Since the US launch in October 2014, its editorial team has worked with more than 650 academics and 300 universities across the country.
