ZHIJIAN LU, Ph.D., Boston University. Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacology. Director of the Biotherapeutics Expression and Purification group in the Biological Technologies Department, Wyeth Research in Cambridge, MA. Research Interests: My current research focus is in the areas of biotherapeutics discovery. We use modern technologies such as genomics and proteomics to identify targets suitable for biotherapeutic intervention, and try to understand the biological functions of these targets in order to set up assays and animal models for testing drug candidates.
