 Announcements:

  • 104th USCAP Meeting, Boston, MA, March 21-27 2015
    • Mostafa Belghasem, PhD Candidate, Henderson Lab has an abstract accepted for poster presentation for the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology’s (USCAP) 104th Annual Meeting in Boston, MA. The abstract is entitled “Podocyte-Specific Myh9 Deletion in Mice Results in Susceptibility to Glomerular Injury in Response to Subtotal Nephrectomy”
  • From Mark Uva, our Residency Coordinator: We have filled our two vacancies within the residency program.   These positions are in addition to our recruiting through the Match for PGY 1s.  The two physicians come to us with outstanding letters of reference, and thought of very highly in their respective programs.  They will be entering the program as PGY 2s, effective July 1, 2015.
    • Lei Li, MD: Lei is transferring from St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, where she is currently a PGY 1.  Lei graduated from Xuzhou Medical College, Xuzhou, Jiangsu China in 2000.
    • Ram Al-Sabti, MD: Ram is transferring from University Hospital Case Medical Center, Cleveland, OH, where he is currently a PGY 1.  Ram graduated from the University of Bagdad, Iraq in 2009.
