How to Request a Letter of Recommendation
Medical students may request a Dean’s Letter of Recommendation from the Student Affairs Deans: Angela Jackson, M.D., Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Phyllis Carr, M.D., John Polk, M.D., Kenneth Grundfast, M.D., Karen Symes, Ph.D., or Daniel Chen, M.D. Letters of Recommendation may be needed for scholarship applications, applications/nominations to national student organization positions, research programs, or transfers to other medical schools.
