How to Request a Letter of Recommendation
Medical students may request a Letter of Recommendation from Phyllis L. Carr, M.D., Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Paul O’Bryan, Ph.D., Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, John Polk, M.D., Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, or Kenneth Grundfast,M.D., Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. Letters of Recommendation may be needed for scholarship applications, applications/nominations to national student organization positions and transfers to other medical schools. You will also be able to update the biographical information that you submit for the Letter of Recommendation for your Dean’s Letter of Evaluation for residency application.
