Career Planning Seminars 2011 – Fall Semester

These informal, lunch time seminars are designed to introduce you to various specialties as you begin to explore your career choices.   All physicians presenting these seminars are BUSM faculty members and each seminar will focus on a different specialty.

Some of the topics to be addressed:

• tasks and duties performed by an M.D. in the specialty
• “A Day/Week in the Life” of a physician in the specialty
• getting into a residency program
• balancing a medical career with family responsibilities
• the transition from student to doctor
• …and much more!!
