OME Clinical Clerkship and Course Evaluation

Clinical clerks must evaluate each clerkship at the end of the rotation. To evaluate the clerkship you have completed most recently, click on the following address: https://dcc2.bumc.bu.edu/clerkships/. A brief introductory screen will appear. To begin the questionnaire click on “Start Questionnaire” at the bottom of the introductory screen. Next, the system will prompt for your BU email username and password. The purpose of asking for your username and password is to ensure that non-BUSM students will not be able to complete the questionnaire. Because OME must have as many responses as possible, the identifying information will also be used to prompt you if you have not responded to this questionnaire within two weeks after completing the clerkship.
The form has sections for the INPATIENT and OUTPATIENT component of a clerkship. A question will ask if there is an inpatient component to the clerkship. If you say no, the inpatient questions will be automatically skipped by the program. A similar feature exists if there is no outpatient component. At the bottom of each page is a button to go to the next page. Please be sure to click on “Finish” on the last page to save the questionnaire responses to the database at BUSM.
For ALL students: The results from the questionnaires will be SUMMARIZED by the OME and presented to the Curriculum Committees of the School and to the Course Managers and Clerkship Directors. Answers from individual questionnaires will be kept strictly confidential, and will NOT be given to Course Managers or Clerkship Directors.
