ITCA award

BUSM’s Nuclear Accident Preparedness Program (NAP)
was recently honored as this years recipient of the International Teleconferencing Association’s (ITCA) award for Best Application in the Audiographics/Multimedia category.
Each year, ITCA honors excellence in several categories, including products, applications, services and advertisements. This year awards were presented March 10, 1999 during the spring MultiMediaCom conference.
Using Optel Communication’s Telewriter AGS, and an audiobridge provided by Connex International, BUSM’s NAP program conducted a multi-site teleconference discussion on the 14 essential elements of an Emergency Medical Response Plan For Radiation Accidents.
