Research Interests
I just joined the laboratory and have taken my written quals. My research is focused on the interaction of purinergic receptors that occurs during development and wound repair. I am currently establishing a stable corneal epithelial cell line expressing a HA-tagged P2Y2 receptor so that we can examine the interaction of P2Y2 with docking proteins and integrin molecules. I am performing FRAP on transfected cells to examine if communication between cells is disrupted
