April 13, 2009—Awards for The Henry I. Russek Student Achievement Day 2009. It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of The Henry I. Russek Student Achievement Day 2009 for the Department of Biochemistry. An honorable mention was awarded to Elma Kurtagic who is a student in Dr. Nugent’s lab, the second prize award was awarded to Courtney Mayo who is a student in Dr. Trinkaus-Randall’s lab and the first prize was awarded to Partha Chakrabarti who is a student in Dr. Kandror’s lab. Russek day was held April 23rd.
April 8, 2009—Myrna and Carl Franzblau Student Travel Awards. The Student Affairs Committee is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Myrna and Carl Franzblau Student Travel Awards.
