Web Editor Services
A new web service for those departments that need assistance in editing or maintaining their BUMC web sites is now offered through the Office of Information Technologies Web Editor services group. Web Editor services include set-up and/or maintenance of an existing BUMC department site. This includes a folder on the BUMC web server, data entry to the department forms which posts to the (SQL server) database structure for department content, news, and events. In addition, a link off the main index page or school index page, the current design, logos, graphics, and navigation. A contact person from the office requesting this service is necessary to work with a staff member in the Office of Information Technology to coordinate the work flow and provide feedback. If a department or organization is interested in web resources outside of the current BUMC web site model, OIT offers consulting services to address specific needs, rates vary depending on the expertise and scope of the project.
