Interactive Portable Document Format (iPDF) File Conversion Service
A new service that the Office of Information Technology provides is converting Word documents, paper documents, and regular Portable Document Format (PDF) files into Interactive Portable Document Format (IPDF) files. The benefit of IPDFs is that users will be able to type directly into the document you have on the web and then will be able to print it. This simplifies the process of finding and using a typewriter to complete forms.
Please note that Acrobat Reader 4.0 is required. This is a free software that can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html. This service costs $30 per form that is to be converted. For more information, contact BUMC Helpdesk.
