Boston University Charles River Campus
The Office of Information Technology’s Personal Computing Support Center (PCSC) is a free resource dedicated to helping Boston University students; faculty and staff use their personal computers and the Internet. PCSC offers instructor-led tutorials at the beginning of each semester, please visit PCSC. Networked Information Services provides web resources, consultation, and training. The Boston Consortium Vendor Partnership
As members of the Boston Consortium of Higher Education, Boston University students, faculty and staff have access to two training programs: ElementK.com , a web based training resource, provides over 500 courses in business, health and safety, human resources, technical courses, application and web design courses including classes in PowerPoint, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Outlook. They were thoroughly screened and evaluated by the Boston Consortium IT Training group not only for high quality instructors and materials but also for convenient locations and excellent educational pricing. - New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Both individuals and departments can sign up for classes. All individual and departmental requests for training will be held at one of the New Horizons locations. Individuals, who wish to attend software application training, can view New Horizon’s schedule and then register on-line by submitting the registration form. Be sure to mention that you are requesting Boston Consortium Pricing.
