Terminal Services - Time Saving Website at BUMC

What is Terminal Services?

Terminal Services or our “Time Saving Website” (TSWeb) is a service that allows you to connect to BUMC network resources from a remote location by logging on to a Terminal Server. Examples of BUMC Network resources are the network file server, commonly referred to as the “Y” Drive, and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange 2003.

Why do I need Terminal Services?

  • You are outside the BUMC campus network and need access to the Y drive and/or Outlook/Exchange.
  • You are traveling.
  • You are connecting to BUMC network resources from home.

As we migrate onto the Boston University Active Directory domain, Terminal Services will be the new way to connect to BUMC resources from home.
