Microsoft Entourage 2004 for BUMC Exchange

 
Microsoft Entourage is our preferred client for the Mac, if you are using another mail client on the Mac, please consider switching to Entourage.  These directions are for users with a BUMC Outlook/Exchange account.  If you have a BU ACS e-mail account, you will want to try the directions at http://www.bu.edu/pcsc/email/. 
 
You can also access your email on the Mac through Outlook Web Access (OWA) at www.bumc.bu.edu/exchange or you can us our TimeSaving Website (TSWEB), please visit www.bumc.bu.edu/bumc/oit/email/tsweb for information on accessing TSWEB on a Mac.
 

Configuring Microsoft Entourage for BUMC Outlook/Exchange Accounts

Open Entourage

Click Entourage -> Account Settings, the following screen will appear:

Click Exchange (on the right) and then click New

The Account Setup Assistant will appear. Click Configure account manually at the bottom

You will be brought to the Edit Account screen.
Please fill out the screen as indicated below replacing jdoe with your username.

 

 

 

Click the Advanced button
Fill out this screen as indicated below and click OK.

 

 

 

 

Congratulations! You have configured Entourage for the Exchange at BUMC.
You will now be able to access e-mails, calendar items, address book, and public folders all stored on the Exchange server.
