Maintenance & Operations:
Operates and maintains building systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electric, plumbing and carpentry services. Maintains the structural components of the buildings such as walls, floors and roof.

Construction Services:
Provides planning, design and construction management services for both minor and major renovation and construction projects.

Custodial Services:
Provides general housekeeping and cleaning for common areas, interior space, classrooms and departmental space within the Medical Campus facilities. This includes regular and “red-bag” trash removal, floor cleaning, dusting and lamp replacement. Also, special services such as rug shampooing, floor stripping and waxing, interior window washing and venetian blind cleaning are available. These special services may be requested by submitting a work order form and are scheduled based on demand and availability of staff.

Custodial Services also coordinates pest control and recycling programs.

Grounds:
Maintains the Medical Center grounds. Lawns, shrubs and other plantings at the Medical Center are maintained by the grounds workers. Snow removal, trash removal (outdoor), litter and leaf removal is done by this area.

Special Services:
Office relocation and equipment moving services can often be provided within the Facilities Department by Custodial Services or Grounds. If the job surpasses our in-house capabilities, Facilities will arrange for a moving contractor.

Receiving:
Insures the prompt and reliable delivery of packages within the complex either by the carrier or by in-house staff.

The Office of Facilities Management (OFM) provides maintenance and custodial services to the Medical Campus. In addition, OFM is responsible for all construction projects on campus.
