Patriot Guard Exercise
The Massachusetts National Guard in conjunction with local, state and federal agencies and the Boston University Healthcare Emergency Management Program conducted a Homeland Security training exercises in the vicinity of the Sandwich power station and Sandwich Boat Basin on May 5 2011.
This training event involved joint training opportunities for multiple agencies including the National Guard, US Coast Guard, Town of Sandwich Emergency Management , FBI, FEMA Urban Search and Rescue (MA-Task Force 1), US Army Corp of Engineers and other local agencies. The exercise was used to test the homeland security response capability of the federal government to a CBRNE incident.
