Sushma Agam Hallock
Sushma Agam Hallock, B.S., M.A., is the Administrative Director for the Healthcare Emergency Management Program and Lab Manager for the Laboratory of Intelligence Modeling and Neurophysics. As laboratory manager, she oversees several other projects in the lab, serves as the lab’s safety director, and assures compliance with IACUC and IRB protocols.
After developing a successful massage therapy practice and teaching career in Toronto, Canada, Mrs. Hallock moved to Boston to pursue her Masters in Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine. Her thesis investigated the cognitive effects of levetiracetam on attention to novel and targeted stimuli under the direction of Dr. Peter Bergethon. She has studied the effects of neurotrauma on HIF-1 alpha and caspase levels in collaboration with the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute at Tufts Medical Center.
Mrs. Hallock is currently working on her Masters in Advertising at Boston University Metropolitan College.
