The biomedical field offers a broad range of career opportunities. Below are just a few examples of job descriptions for which BLCS graduates are qualified.

	DNA Analyst This position requires conducting analyses on samples submitted for DNA identification according to established protocol in a crime or genetics laboratory; producing detailed accurate reports of results and conclusions; organizing and maintaining detailed records relating to all aspects of laboratory operations; participating in validation of new laboratory procedures and equipment; and performing general laboratory maintenance and calibration of equipment.
	Clinical Research Coordinator Responsibilities include assisting with clinical research studies, recruiting and evaluating patients for studies; scheduling patients for study visits; obtaining informed consent; collecting and organizing patient data; quality assurance of research charts to assure compliance; and insuring high levels of confidentiality regarding study and patient medical records.
	Manufacturing Associate The ideal candidate will perform a variety of complex tasks in large-scale bulk manufacturing under general guidance and in accordance with current good manufacturing practices. Duties include preparation and operation of large-scale chromatography systems, and bioreactors.
