BMFS Receives NIJ Grant for Complex DNA Mixture Training
Complex Mixture Training
The Biomedical Forensic Sciences Program has received a grant from the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to aid in the training of forensic DNA analysts in Complex DNA Mixture Interpretation. The project, headed by Dr. Robin Cotton, will ensue within the year. Drs. Charlotte Word and Catherine Grgicak and Forensic DNA Analyst Margaret Terrill will aid in the development and dissemination of the training.

DNA training will concentrate on examination of complex DNA mixtures.
