Faculty Positions

As part of an ongoing expansion program, the Department of Biochemistry at the Boston University School of Medicine invites applications for new faculty positions at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek creative scientists using cutting-edge technologies and experimental systems to address the cellular and molecular mechanisms of biological processes, particularly those that relate broadly to human disease. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an independent research program and contribute to the educational mission of the Department and the School. Excellent resources are available to support new faculty including attractive start-up packages and newly renovated laboratory space. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D. or the equivalent, and post-doctoral experience.
