Teresa Guillamon-Vivancos


Born in Murcia, Spain, I earned a BS in Pharmacy from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Following graduation, I went on complete a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Valencia.  In 2012 I was awarded a Fulbright grant to complete my studies in the United States at Boston University School of Medicine.  I have previously studied the ultrastructural alterations of the motor neuron in ALS disease. My research interests focus on the anatomical basis of neurodegenerative diseases, like Alzheimer’s disease.
