Metcalf Cup and Prize Winner: MED’s Deborah Vaughan
Her teaching formula: technology + professionalism = great doctors. Congratulations to Deborah Vaughan...
Having grown up in Western Massachusetts, I moved to Boston where I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Boston University. Continuing at the University, I went on to join the Department as a Ph.D. student working in Dr. Irina Zhdanova’s Sleep and Circadian Physiology lab. I am currently studying the circadian regulation of adult neurogenesis in zebrafish. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at a local women’s shelter, fishing, playing basketball, and following local sports teams.
