After graduating from a pre-medical track at Boston College with a Bachelor’s in Biology, I decided to explore the opportunities of the Vesalius Program before pursuing my interest in medical school. The program objectives of teaching at the graduate level and academic research complement my already diverse medical experiences. Work as a life-guard and EMT combined with my academic background in Biology left me with a curiosity in the human anatomy. I am now involved in a research project, conducted by Dr Tamar Apprahamian, concerned with the potential ameliorating effects of various metabolic gene knockouts in mice models of lupus.
