For the past nine years, staff, faculty, students and alumni have participated in Boston University’s annual Global Days of Service, a month long event sponsored by the BU Alumni association and the BU Community Service Center.

This year, BU students, alumni and employees of the Office of Financial and Grants Administration and the Office of Proposal Development volunteered at:

  • Pine Street Inn, the largest resource for homeless men and women in New England
  • A Room to Grow, a resource that serves families from just before their child’s birth through age three with individualized parenting education and support, high-quality material items, and specialized referrals to vital community resources to ensure a healthy and secure start in life.

At Room to Grow (L to R) Julia Huntsman, Chelsea Rathbun, Alondra Andino, Larysa Malinouskaya, Irene Ruiz Gallego, Kathryn Stocking, James Bargoot, Su (Ali) Chang.
